A&E came out the next day or so to evaluate the breakdown.Andrew, their technician, gave me a good idea of the problem and cost to fix.A&E has a busy schedule so it took around a week to come back to make the repairs.A&E informed me in writing via e-mail when they were coming out. Included was both a profile and picture of the technician who would perform the repairs.Andrew showed up right on time and explained to me the work he going to do. Repaired Condensate drain line so it drained into the sump correctly. The installation of the Original drain line was NOT done correctly so that the drain line wicked water onto the floor of the furnace room where the Navien Tankless water heater was installed by the Builder Curtis Homes LLC.

Skylar was on time per appointment. She was cheerful and knew what needed to be done. Went right to work checking the furnace for cleanliness in coils and air duct. Then went to heat exchanger unit and suggested putting a surge protector on it. I had her do that. She checked the pressure in system and looked it over for any problem. I was very pleased with the work Skylar did to insure our units were in good working condition. I will keep using their services.

Excellent attention to detail, manners and respect of my time but the A & E quote was more than twice that of another Contractor and had several weeks of back log.Our obsolete A/C fried in the heat storm and after a couple of long, 90 degree nights, the other Contractor made more sense. He, along with a Master Electrician, installed our new 2-ton Mits on dedicated breakers, and had our crawl-space sump pump wired in less than 3-hours, 11-days from my the initial contact. These guys were entertaining rather than professionals, wore no uniforms and completed our projects on their flex time. Do what works best. We are breathing easier with the cool breeze in the house now and the cost savings of $4,500.

Living in a small town, it’s been difficult to get service on a lot of our appliances. Today it was our heater-boiler system. A&E showed up on time, they were very professional, and I would not hesitate to business with him again. I asked for a diagnostic for my 14 year old Heat pump. I am considering a new system but wanted to know how much life this system has left. A&E tech Skylar showed up promptly as scheduled and checked out my heat pump from stem to stern. It has a couple of issues that I can take care of, but otherwise my unit is elderly but functional until I can replace it. Skylar was professional, courteous and thorough. Highly recommended.

A&E installed our HVAC system in our new home. They are very professional on the phone, and their service techs are pleasant, but it took them two months to figure out they installed the wrong air exchanger (they installed a 3 ton and we needed a 5-ton) to the point where the heat pump was not working and we had to heat the home on heat strips for eight weeks. The kept sending techs out to try to diagnose what was happening, but it was when the entire system failed, and Josh came out did they figure out their error. In the meantime, I paid Klickitat PUD $1,980 in electric bills while the system ran on the heat strips.

The technician was very courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. However the cost for the first maintenance check on a $13,000 heat pump ductless system one year after installation was exorbitant. It should have been included in the purchase price. $195 flat fee covers a check of the exterior unit and ONE interior unit. Additional units are $75 each.

Super helpful. Another firm created a problem keeping A&E from doing the work they came to do; so they waived the fee for coming out, told me exactly what needed done, and just invited me to reschedule. Excellent. Definitely recommended.
