Our Story: Local Roots, Lasting Commitment

A&E Plumbing, Heating and Air has a history built on local roots, hands-on experience, and a commitment to the communities we serve.

Owner Andy Meresse grew up in the Columbia River Gorge and began his career in construction before specializing in heating and cooling. In 2009, he started ATM Heat and Air.

In 2014, ATM merged with ACE Heating to form A&E Heating and Air, bringing together two established businesses under one name.

Today, Andy continues to lead A&E, helping homeowners and businesses throughout the Columbia River Gorge and Portland Metro area with dependable heating, cooling, and plumbing services.

How We've Grown

What began as a local heating and cooling business has grown into a team providing HVAC and plumbing services throughout the Columbia River Gorge and Portland Metro area.

2009

Where It All Began

Andy Meresse founded ATM Heat and Air, building on his experience in construction and heating and cooling.

2014

A&E Was Formed

ATM joined forces with ACE Heating to create A&E Heating and Air, bringing two local businesses together under one name.

2020

Duct Cleaning Added

A&E expanded its services to include professional duct cleaning.

2021

Plumbing Services Added

Through an acquisition, A&E expanded into plumbing, providing more solutions for customers' homes and businesses.

2022

Growing Beyond the Gorge

A&E expanded into the Gresham and Portland markets, bringing its services to more communities.
